MUSIC ON THE GREEN

Back with a "BANG", bigger and better this year!!  Get ready for a day of sunshine, sounds, and smiles! Enjoy live music, browse unique craft stalls, and don’t miss the tail-wagging excitement of our fabulous dog show. There’s something for everyone — come soak up the summer vibes!  Bring a picnic and your dancing feet!

Event Details


Dog Show
Register your dog for classes such as “Most Handsome Boy”, “Waggiest Tail” and more from 14:00. Judging starts from 15:00 - more details below


Stalls
There will also be a variety of different stalls, so why not come along and treat yourself or try your luck and see what you can win!!


Food
Maria’s Kitchen will once again be on hand providing BBQ food and your favourite drinks! There will also be a cake stall/pudding tent again this year!


Music
From 17:00 Local Band “The Spitfires” will kick of the fun with “Dr Moonshine” as this year’s headline act starting around 8pm.

This event is organised by the Village Hall committee. 
Draw tickets are now available from Deborah Crossan, Jo Burrows and at The Romer Arms. 

Ticket Sales for the Draw help to raise funds for new toilets in the Village Hall - please support us!

Dog Show

This is a new feature of the Newnham - Music on the Green Summer Fair!  We are very lucky to be working with Kayleighs Pawpals who will help us to facilitate and judge this very exciting event!


Registration is from 14:00 to enter your beloved pooch into the competition!!


Classes are as follows:-

  • 15:00 Most handsome boy   
  • 15:10 Prettiest girl   
  • 15:20 Golden Oldie   
  • 15:30 Waggiest Tail   
  • 15:40 Cutest Puppy   
  • 15:50 Best Rescue   
  • 16:00 Most like its owner

  • 16:20 Longest/Best sit


There will be a final class of "Best in Show" as the winner of winners at 16:30!
