Come along and laugh along to some fantastic comedians.  The Newnham circuit is fast making a name for itself as a great night out with lots of laughs!  This event features Alistair Barrie - a British stand‑up comedian, writer and actor known for his sharp, topical humour and polished stage presence. A regular performer at London’s famous Comedy Store and a sought‑after headliner on the international circuit, he has performed in over 40 countries and at major festivals including Edinburgh, Melbourne and Cape Town.

His solo shows have been nominated for Best Show at the Edinburgh Fringe, and he’s widely recognised for his work as a corporate entertainer, MC and awards host. Barrie also appears regularly on radio and television, including BBC Scotland’s Breaking the News and as a pundit on Times Radio, Radio 4 and 5Live. In addition to performing, he has written for major TV and radio shows and keeps a popular blog reviewing restaurants he visits on tour.
